Our client is seeking a reliable and professional person to fill the position of Appliance Delivery Assistant in the Montreal area. You will work in tandem with a driver to deliver, position, and perform basic installation of appliances in homes and businesses.

Tasks

• Participate in the safe loading and unloading of the truck.
• Move appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc.) to the location designated by the customer.
• Unpack and position appliances; dispose of packaging materials according to standards.
• Assist with basic installations (leveling, connecting to existing sources).
• Use mobile tools to track delivery steps and submit proof of delivery (POD).
• Protect the customer’s property and report any incidents or damages.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in appliance or furniture delivery.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy loads using appropriate equipment.
• Good physical condition and availability to work in various conditions (stairs, weather, confined spaces).
• Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written) required to communicate with customers about 50% of the time.
• High school diploma required.
