Compensation And Benefits
- Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $22.00 to $24.40+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
- Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.
Job Summary To supervise everyday business operations with FOH staff, including providing leadership and guidance in the development and oversight of staff so as to accomplish service levels appropriate for the resort and to align with corporate goals and objectives. It is important that someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, organized, hold this position and has good communication skills. They must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Time Keeper.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Overseeing the day to day operations including but not limited to: accurate cash handling, proper maintenances of all restaurant equipment and repairs thereof, proper stocking levels for sales in alcohol, food and general merchandise, maintaining cleanliness and highest possible appearance of the facility, gold standards of guest service. Own the Zone.
This individual helps oversee the financial performance of the Business Unit:
- Administers the daily operational functions of cash handling, ordering, and staff scheduling.
- Fulfill Copper Mountain’s quality control standards and meet restaurant imaging guidelines.
- Assists with overall restroom cleanliness and duties when needed

- This position is a seasonal position and may have fluctuations in hours worked based upon overall business volumes.
Supervisory Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day performance of all employees including: the hiring, training, scheduling, discipline, termination, performance reviews and open/close responsibilities. Maintain on the job safety for fellow employees and guests. Coach and train the staff to establish gold service levels. Enroll in Track training.

Basic Requirements

- Must be at least 21 years old
Preferred Experience And Special Skills
- 3+ years’ experience restaurant or retail related industry.
- 3+ years’ management experience of a food and beverage outlet.

Copper Mountain Resort is The Athlete's Mountain. Located in Summit County, Colorado, about 75 miles (121 km) west of Denver on Interstate 70, the resort opened in late 1971. Iit was owned and operated by Intrawest until Dec. 2009, when operations were transferred to Powdr Adventure Lifestyle Co.
The ski area features beginner slopes on the western side of the mountain, intermediate slopes in the center, and expert terrain on the eastern side. Advanced "double black diamond" slopes are located on the two peaks above 12,000 feet (Copper and Union Peaks), including four expert-only bowls: Copper Bowl, Union Bowl, Spaulding Bowl, and Resolution Bowl. Copper Mountain Ski Resort has 2,465 acres of in-bounds terrain under lease from the United States Forest Service, White River National Forest, Dillon Ranger District.
