About the role

The Opportunity

The Business Partner, Digital Content is responsible for supporting and executing Technical Safety BC’s digital experience strategy. They use compelling content and user empathy to craft a cohesive experience across multiple client-facing platforms, working cross-functionally to drive outcomes with the greatest impact on success. They have a deep understanding of the impact of their work on TSBC’s clients and how it improves safety-minded decision making, furthering Technical Safety BC’s authority as the trusted source of technical safety expertise.

Status: Casual, Full-Time, Union (18 months)
Number of Positions: 1
Pay Grade: 16 ($46.27 - $53.59 per hour)
Location: Vancouver or open to any of our BC regional offices (hybrid work environment)
Reports to: Leader, Digital Experience

As a Business Partner, Digital Content, you will:

  • Supports the management of standards for and execution of content strategy for technicalsafetybc.ca, in support of Technical Safety BC’s strategy and business plan; ensuring we deliver a consistent, efficient end-to-end user experience across all client-facing digital platforms.

  • Administrates content management systems for technicalsafetybc.ca; both developing workflows and executing content development and deployment.

  • Partners with and provides user experience and content strategy recommendations and expansion opportunities for Technical Safety BC’s online programs, tools and services, Go-To-Market activities, and ongoing product evolution.

  • Collaborates with other TSBC teams to ensure an integrated and seamless end-to-end digital experience.

  • Liaises with external contractors and agency partners to execute on product development and site maintenance to ensure an integrated and seamless end-to-end digital experience with a client-centric lens.

  • Uses research, business intelligence and digital analytics to evaluate site effectiveness on an ongoing basis and develops plans that address opportunities for improvement in the technicalsafetybc.ca experience.

  • Conducts best practices research related to website development, web trends and advances in new media and communicates new software, hardware, and training needs

  • Utilizes project management processes to guide cross functional teams through successful campaign and product launches for technicalsafetybc.ca

  • Manages and prioritizes backlog of modifications and additions to be made on technicalsafetybc.ca

Knowledge, Skills & Experience you have:

  • Requires a degree in marketing, communications, computer science, information management, or other business-related fields and supplemented by 5+ years’ experience
  • Experience managing websites with related experience in digital marketing, CRM and CMS management.
  • A solid understanding of digital analytics, SEO, SEM, and digital marketing best practices.
  • A solid understanding of user experience, information architecture, usability best practises, human centred design, and JTBD principles.
  • Experience managing multiple projects effectively, using digital tools like Asana.
  • Ability to research and collaborate with stakeholders, designers and developers on the execution of a design system used across all digital platforms
  • An understanding of various web development technologies and a capacity to effectively manage projects involving contract development teams and IT
  • Working knowledge of online surveys (building, tracking), forms, ecommerce and other online interactive tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with senior management
  • A proven track record of success in prioritizing and managing multiple projects.

  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize the many digital needs of an organization and make and communicate decisions based on the needs of the client/user.
