Technology Services (TS) is responsible for delivering all enterprise infrastructure, applications and related end user technology services across all Brookfield business groups, comprised of approximately 6,500 users.

Job Description

  • Finance lead for HRS & Office Services teams.
  • Lead and execute month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and cost centre reporting.
  • Prepare variance analysis and commentary comparing actuals to budget and forecast
  • Present financial results and insights to business groups, ensuring clarity and alignment with operational goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop monthly financial forecasts and support the annual budgeting process for both expense and capital planning.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlight trends and changes monthly.
  • Support the Biannual allocation model process.
  • Responsible for preparing intercompany billings and month end intercompany journal entries.
  • Respond to financial requests from senior management and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Three to Four (3-4) years of progressive work experience
  • Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills, and the willingness to always support the team.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to translate financial terms into business vocabulary.
  • Highly organized and able to work in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment, as well as adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with respect to both managing workload and professional development.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.
