Role: Senior Finance Specialist (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $20 - $30/hour
Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Finance Expert to work on a contract basis. The role involves managing financial operations for a global platform connecting businesses with freelance talent. This includes overseeing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile financial transactions across multiple currencies and payment methods.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with financial accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools, such as QuickBooks or Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data.
- Knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory requirements in financial operations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
