POSITION OVERVIEW
Quanser is seeking a sales-centric and data-driven Marketing Communications Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns in the higher education market. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and leading a team of cross-functional marketers, you will be responsible for developing and delivering customer-focused campaigns that generate qualified leads, support both direct and channel sales, and influence the full customer journey.
This role requires a creative and collaborative leader with strong organizational and people management skills. You bring an excellent command of the English language and the ability to craft persuasive and compelling communications tailored to a global audience. Skilled at building strong relationships within your team and across the business, you align stakeholders around shared goals while ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and with impact. With proven expertise in campaign management, you balance strategic vision with hands-on execution to provide effective promotion of Quanser’s innovative ed-tech hardware and software platforms designed for engineering programs worldwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Campaign Management & Performance Measurement
- Collaborate with the Product Strategy Committee, Sales, R&D, and Business Intelligence teams to develop campaign strategies aligned with go-to-market plans, product priorities, pipeline goals, and performance insights.
- Own the campaign calendar, ensuring accurate scheduling, on-time execution, and delivery of customer-focused, multi-channel campaigns targeting key segments.
- Review and refine content to ensure it is compelling, persuasive, and tailored to the academic audience, while maintaining accuracy, quality, and brand consistency.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand reach and boost engagement across both digital and in-person channels, driving measurable impact on the pipeline.
- Collaborate in goal setting of multiple, concurrent campaigns and monitor, track, and document campaign results to evaluate effectiveness across channels.
- Analyze and communicate performance against KPIs to assess ROI and guide ongoing strategy and team priorities.
- Apply findings to refine messaging, targeting, and tactics.
Team Leadership & Operational Management
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to set priorities, and successfully guide the marketing team, and manage team deliverables and deadlines to ensure goals are met.
- Foster a collaborative team environment built on trust, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Work closely with colleagues from all departments and at all levels of the business to ensure alignment.
- Manage and monitor the marketing budget monthly to ensure efficient use of marketing resources.
- Oversee vendor contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Champion use of new digital tools / AI and helping the team build those capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years managing people.
- Strong background in campaign management, demand generation, and marketing analytics.
- A background in technology, education, engineering, or SaaS sectors is considered an asset.
Skills & Attributes
- Proven ability to develop and execute multi-channel campaigns that drive measurable impact.
- Analytical thinker with deep experience in campaign tracking and performance analysis.
- Highly collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills across all business levels.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with attention to detail and messaging consistency across multiple formats.
- Organized, proactive, and adaptable with strong project management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics, Google Analytics, PowerBi, and other marketing platforms.
