Hiring: Buyer / Purchasing Specialist
Blenheim, ON
$70K – $80K + 100% employer-paid benefits + pension
Day shift: 7:30am – 3:30pm
I’m currently partnering with a global manufacturing company that designs and builds advanced process equipment used across industries like food processing, biofuels, animal nutrition, and packaging
.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with suppliers, planners, and production teams to keep materials flowing and production running smoothly.
What you’ll be do ing
- Creating and managing purchase orders for materials and components
- Working closely with the Material Planner and production team
- Communicating with suppliers on pricing, delivery timelines, and lead times
- Negotiating with vendors when required
- Tracking supplier performance and following up on shipments
What they’re looking for:
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong supplier relationship and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working with Excel and ERP systems (moving to SAP in the future)
