About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and drive data innovation within our supply chain operations. In this role, you will focus on developing machine learning applications that deliver actionable insights and enhance decision-making processes. You will collaborate closely with supply chain teams, data engineers, and cross-functional partners to create impactful data pipelines and analytics solutions tailored to address real-world supply chain challenges. Leveraging your expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud, along with advanced machine learning methodologies, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into strategic assets. Familiarity with large language models and the latest data science tools will be considered valuable assets as you contribute to shaping Celestica’s data-driven future.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in supply chain analytics or related fields. Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools such as Python or R. Strong background in Azure Machine Learning services and data engineering practices. Experience with building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Google Cloud components. Knowledge of CI/CD practices within analytics projects. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools, including those related to large language models. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve analytical capabilities.
Responsibilities
Develop innovative and scalable analytics solutions that address the needs of supply chain stakeholders. Collaborate with supply chain and data engineering teams to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and workflows. Implement and fine-tune machine learning models to provide predictive insights and operational efficiencies. Utilize Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Platform, and related tools to manage data integration and processing tasks. Engage with cross-functional partners to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions. Stay updated with emerging trends in machine learning, cloud computing, and supply chain analytics to continuously enhance project outcomes. Document processes and maintain high standards of data quality, security, and compliance. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure robust and reliable analytics solutions.
