We are currently recruiting for a Stores Coordinator to join our HeavyAero team in Edmonton, Alberta.
The Stores Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting end to end acquisition of customer supplied parts and assuring on time and accurate inventory allocation to production. This role will also be responsible for maintaining an accurate record of inventory to assure quality, and prevent shortages by maintaining data integrity in ERP, reports, and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and allocate customer supplied inventory and fulfill requirements
- Track and record material receipts, distribution, and inventory, resolving any discrepancies between the two systems EMRO & RAAS
- Maintaining record of inventory on additional tracking master lists
- Prepare and submit a daily/weekly report summarizing all material movements, and customer supplied shortages
- Verify physical counts against system records to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure proper identification and location of parts and supplies.
- Process RTS, RMA And Quarantined items
- Maintain compliance, traceability, and quality standards for regulated processes
- Other duties as required by stores management
- Support process integrity and improvement process owned by other roles
General Accountabilities:
- Follow all established rules, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Meet deadlines and objectives, proactively communicating any risks or changes that may impact outcomes.
- Take ownership of your personal growth by actively participating in development plans and training opportunities.
- Demonstrate initiative and provide leadership when needed to help achieve team and company goals.
- Foster a positive team environment by being a reliable and supportive team player.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the company by ensuring optimal use of resources and identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in aviation and/or inventory experience will be considered as an asset
- Experience with a computerized inventory system
- Knowledge of Maintenance software and or ERP is considered an asset
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work permit
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Must be capable of holding a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
Working Conditions:
- Work involves exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and noise
- Work involves physical risks such as working around mechanical, chemical and electrical hazards which can be dangerous if not handled correctly
- Must be able to meet the physical tasks of the job (e.g. standing, walking, wearing a respirator, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting, working from heights & confined spaces etc.)
- Must be able to see, hear and effectively communicate with others
- Personal protective equipment, as defined by the Company, will be provided and must be worn
