What you would engage in:
The Digital Content Coordinator will fulfill a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality digital content across our corporate websites and intranet. The role requires a combination of creativity and technical knowledge to support effective communication and enhance our digital presence. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this position will be responsible for the coordination, development and maintenance of content pages on the company websites and SharePoint Online. They will work closely with and support the Marketing & Communications Team, and other teams to fulfill the company’s brand image and direction.
What does your role as a Digital Content Coordinator at KCB look like?
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop audience-friendly content for pages on corporate websites and SharePoint online.
- Develop, edit, and maintain content pages for our Wordpress-based corporate websites and SharePoint Online, ensuring content adheres to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Support with content development including layout design, SEO optimization, and analytics tracking.
- Stay informed about digital marketing trends, search engine algorithms and user behaviour to optimize content.
- Assist with communications initiatives and digital newsletters.
- Coordinate marketing and communications tasks or special projects, as required.
Who we are looking for:
We respect the knowledge and experience you have gained to date and are willing to help you build on it. For this role we would expect you to have:
- Post-secondary degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, Design or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in website content marketing and user experience for Intranets and websites (experience in the AEC industry is an asset.)
- Proficiency with SharePoint Online and WordPress.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic web design principles is an asset.
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Bing Analytics and digital accessibility standards is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, collaborate, and interact with cross-functional teams.
- A strong eye for creativity and design, problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently, take on responsibility and use initiative to prioritize and work effectively, under pressure and under tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Assets:
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
- Experience with Canva.
The salary for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 per year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level.
