WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
As a Senior Engineering Manager (SRE) in the SaaS division, you will lead multiple SRE teams across a Product Area and work closely with other leaders to shape platform direction and engineering culture. You will be accountable for the delivery, people development, and strategic evolution of SRE practices as we scale our Azure-native SaaS platform.
Your work will shape how we automate onboarding, maintain platform reliability, and respond to operational incidents across new and running clients. In this role, you’ll help define best practices, contribute to security and compliance models, and ensure that operational ownership is embedded into engineering.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Lead 2–3 Site Reliability Engineering teams, with responsibility for technical delivery, operational excellence, and team health. Coach and grow senior and lead engineers to become domain leaders within infrastructure and operations
- Drive the evolution of SRE practices across your Product Area and help shape SaaS-wide reliability strategies
- Contribute to strategic decision-making in engineering process, hiring, tooling, and SRE standards
- Own the delivery of operational goals including onboarding automation, monitoring maturity, incident response readiness, and cloud cost optimization
- Ensure engineering teams maintain high standards of security, reliability, observability, and compliance
- Define and track meaningful SRE metrics (SLOs, SLIs, MTTR, etc.) to continuously improve outcomes
- Enhance collaboration across Product Management, Architecture, and Cloud Platform teams
- Ensure best practices in change management, root cause analysis, and runbook development
- Guide team leads in prioritization, capacity planning, and cross-area initiatives
WHAT WE VALUE
You are an experienced leader with 5+ years in engineering management, including leading multiple teams
- You’re technically grounded and can understand, motivate, and support complex decisions around infrastructure, reliability, and security
- You have an extensive background in Microsoft Azure, cloud operations, and SRE practices
- You bring experience with ITIL-aligned operations, including incident, change, and problem management
- You are a transformational leader who inspires trust and clarity during complex change
- You’ve worked in or influenced agile environments and understand DevOps/SRE culture deeply

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
