Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner / Facilities Support Associate to maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace. This role combines general cleaning duties with light kitchen and lunch service support to ensure a smooth daily operation.
-**Job Title:**Office Cleaner / Facility Support Associate -**Company:**Generations Cleaning -Hourly Rate:$18.00 -**Job Type:**Full Time -**Schedule:**Monday to Thursday 9:00am-3:00pm & Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
General Cleaning Duties:
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop hard floors throughout the facility.
- Dust and wipe desks, tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
- Clean glass, partitions, and interior windows.
- Disinfect high-touch areas (door handles, switches, shared equipment).
- Empty garbage and recycling bins; replace liners.
- Spot clean walls and remove fingerprints from surfaces.
Boardrooms & Workstations:
- Clean and maintain 5 boardrooms and ~120 workstations.
- Vacuum, dust, and disinfect all accessible areas.
- Ensure spaces are tidy, sanitized, and presentation-ready.
Kitchen & Lunchroom Support:
- Clean and sanitize countertops, tables, and chairs.
- Sweep and mop floors with disinfectant.
- Clean fridges, microwaves, and coffee machines.
- Restock snack and beverage fridges.
- Assist with lunch setup and complete post-lunch cleanup.
Dish & Kitchen Equipment Management:
- Load, run, and unload dishwasher.
- Manage dish carts and ensure dishes are properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and prevent dish backlog.
Common Areas & Entrance:
- Clean hallways, storage rooms, and common areas.
- Maintain entrance/vestibule (floors, mats, glass doors).
- Ensure all areas present a clean and professional appearance.
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Comfortable with light physical work (lifting, standing, walking).
