About the role

What We Expect

  • Lead the field workforce and support teams in alignment with sales volume to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations for project scheduling and execution
  • Plan, direct and coordinate employee assignments, visually monitor employee performance on projects to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and budgets
  • Ensure all employees comply with safety procedures as set out by company policy and provincial Health and Safety Act. Investigate any work-related accident/incident/near misses
  • Supervise maintenance operations, ensuring adherence to established procedures and providing hands-on technical support to resolve issues and optimize equipment performance
  • Work in coordination with property managers, designated managers, and owners to meet or exceed contractual obligations
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of field personnel
  • Support union-related matters, administer policies, and foster strong labor relations
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team on site surveys, offering technical recommendations to enhance product performance and project outcomes
  • Oversee material and equipment readiness by surveying ongoing projects and coordinating timely procurement aligned with project schedules
  • Maintain current knowledge of all aspects of elevator technology
  • Take ownership of issues, provide solutions, and ensure exceptional customer service
  • Other tasks as assigned

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the elevator industry, including supervisory or managerial roles
  • A proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, documents and specifications
  • Competent in the care, use and application of all tools integral to the Elevator Industry
  • Competent in the use of basic business software and hardware
  • A desire to learn, maintain and expand knowledge of all aspects of elevator technology; both mechanical and electrical
  • Experience with multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects
  • Must be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Requires demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of employee and customer, internal and external
