This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy. HDR is looking for a Senior Management Consultant to join our Canadian Water Business Group. The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of our Water Business Group program. This position will collaborate with and leverage HDR’s engineering and Utility Management Services (UMS) staff across the company and teaming partners to develop solutions for our clients. The primary duties of this position include pursuing, planning, managing, and delivering all aspects of utility management projects, primarily within the water and wastewater market in Ontario. and program management projects. They will also be expected to: Key Responsibilities In the role of Senior Management Consultant, we'll count on you to: Serve as strategic advisor with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of great scope and complexity, primarily for our water and wastewater clients Plan and develop projects and consulting engagements for our water and wastewater clients that have significant impact on how they run their business, operating their assets and deliver their capital programs Plan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals, as needed Serve as Project or Program Manager on larger projects and programs as needed, though project management is not the sole focus of position Provide professional consultation on utility planning and organizational structure Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 15 years’ consulting experience and extensive related expertise such as owner’s advisory role A minimum of15 years of water and wastewater industry experience Master’s degree Strong leadership skills and project management experience with multiple national remote teams is preferred Proven experience managing projects, client relationships, proposal development, and business development Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills Strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and collaboration skills Ability to interact with various professionals, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills Local candidates are preferred

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or closely related field A minimum of 10 years consulting experience and extensive related expertise Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access and Outlook Excellent interpersonal skills and strong relationship, organizational and follow-up skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
