Surveyor Musselwhite Mine

Orla Mining is striving to be the emerging gold producer of choice with a geographically diversified asset base, a prospective development and exploration portfolio, an experienced management team with a successful track record, and a high-quality board and shareholder base. Orla operates the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a gold and silver open-pit heap leach mine, located in Zacatecas State, Central Mexico. This low-cost operation is 100% owned by Orla, covers over 139,000 hectares, and includes a large sulfide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources. We are also advancing permitting and development on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada. This project is part our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package. We recently acquired the Musselwhite Mine located in Northern Ontario on Lake Opapimiskan, a gold mine with more than 25 years of operating history. The addition of Musselwhite has allowed Orla to more than double our gold production and provide a strategic entry into a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction. The Musselwhite Mine is highly prospective with potential to expand resources and mine life for years to come. Purpose:

As part of our ongoing operations at Musselwhite Mine, we are seeking a Surveyor to support underground mining activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting precise surveying tasks that ensure safe and efficient mine development and production. This role will report to the Senior Mine Engineer. Responsibilities include: Operate and maintain advanced surveying equipment, including total stations, laser scanners, MOSS, Boretrak, and drones Adhere to underground safety protocols and ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations Perform QA/QC of survey data (e.g., Boretrak), verifying accuracy and alignment with engineering standards Support raiseboring and diamond drilling operations by providing accurate positioning and alignment information Collaborate with engineers, construction teams, and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve survey-related issues Maintain accurate and organized survey records and reports in line with site MDM (Mine Data Management) standards Contribute to Month-End reconciliation processes to support contractor performance management

Qualification and Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Mine Engineering, or a related discipline Over 3 years of relevant experience in mine surveying or underground mine engineering Proficiency with underground survey methods and familiarity with Leica, Trimble, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Deswik software Hands-on experience with MOSS, lateral/vertical development, drill-and-blast techniques, and diamond drilling is an asset Understanding construction tolerances, deformation monitoring, and interpretation of borehole data Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic underground environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments Comfortable working in remote, field-based locations

Working Conditions: This is a fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) position with a rotational schedule of 14 days on / 14 days off, working 12-hour shifts rotations will alternate between one rotation working day shift (D/S) and the other working on night shift (N/S) Compensation: The base salary range for this position is CAD$98,149 - $109,058 per year, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications. This role is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual short term incentive program. The target annual bonus for this position is 10% of base salary, subject to individual and company performance. The Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with the option for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee contributions.
