Seasonal-Full Time Hourly Rate of $23.27 WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The purpose of this role is to assist in executing safe and fun events at Blue Mountain Resorts while ensuring the health and safety of all employees and guests. The Supervisor will work closely with multiple operating departments during planning and execution of events. Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of events and sponsorship activations -Collaborates with other departments on the preparation and execution of events. -Oversees event team and third-party staff to ensure staff and guest safety, and objectives during event set up, execution, and tear down. -Completes departmental payroll coding, timekeeping, scheduling, and other administrative tasks. Updates and renews all inspection, licensing, and training documents -Assists with employee onboarding, uniform distribution, communication, and recognition. -Ensures tactical processes and standards are followed to support the achievement of the Strategic Plan. -Ensures that daily expenses and labour schedules meet daily budget allocations. -Ensures all MEO’s and BEO’s for events are accurate and pertain all relevant information -Supports the on-going advancement of the Business Unit plan via day-to-day operation and daily leadership. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Completion of High School required. Understanding of risk management, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Electrical Safety Authority Standards Must have a valid G driver’s license Previous experience with snowmobiles and other recreational vehicles is an asset Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Physically capable of working outside in all weather conditions.
