About Meridian OneCap
The role:*****Please note - this is a 12-month contract opportunity*
This role works with a high volume of administrative tasks related to customer leases and conducts timely, effective maintenance of this information. The incumbent’s primary responsibilities focus on updating, correcting and maintaining data to ensure the accuracy of current contracts in the leasing data system and other external systems (insurance, government, etc.) according to policies and guidelines.
The Bilingual Leasing Portfolio Representative is responsible for providing straightforward and knowledgeable service through daily interactions to create a relationship of mutual trust and confidence with customers, vendors, brokers, and fellow employees. The incumbent works closely with other representatives in his/her team as well as with all sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meets & supports customers’/vendors’/brokers’ and MOCC team member requests/requirements by analyzing and rectifying their concerns using established procedures.
- Interprets, responds and follows-up clearly and effectively to written or verbal requests while maintaining a suitable response time within established SLAs.
- Addresses customer needs while balancing those of the company from end-to-end, except when the file is in collections.
- Works with colleagues at Meridian ECC to ensure clients’ call-in needs are properly determined and addressed via Service Now ticketing system.
- Adheres to guidelines relating to privacy and customer service procedures.
- Offers value-add by directing sales opportunities to MOCC Account Managers.
- Maximizes fee-generating income opportunities (such as when a lease comes to the end of term, lease add-on proposals, trade-ups and the purchase of optional insurance).
- Manages and works through incoming Client Services email box to determine priorities and handle a number of key tasks, including but not limited to:
- Provides buyout/trade-up quotes and invoices in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the input and accuracy of customer updates necessary to effect servicing changes to an account. Act as liaison and advocate between clients, our insurance provider, and outside insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
- Coordinates insurance claims between clients, insurance companies, Risk Management, and other stakeholders.
- Provides documentation and support for title transfer of vehicles with the provincial ministries at end of contract.
- Partakes in a customer service specialization sub-department, such as insurance or broker, and is responsible for completing the sub-department assigned tasks, including but not limited to:
- Reporting, liaising with external partners (GAIG insurance representatives, brokers), managing specific email inbox for incoming requests, determining legitimacy of and issuing appropriate refunds, servicing clients based on requests specific to these sub-department functions.
- Services French speaking clients through various mediums of communication, including monitoring incoming phone lines for French calls.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement projects to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the centralized Customer Service team; identifies opportunities for improvements and defines issues, recommends changes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Fluency in both English and French is a requirement for this role as it services customers across Canada.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing duties in accordance with established procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An understanding of basic business math and accounting principles.
- Good voice tone and the ability to articulate on the phone are vital.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus.
- Exhibits a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service.
- Quick learner who can adopt new information and processes.
- Ability to act as a client advocate.
- Proven ability to work well with people and handle a variety of items simultaneously.
- Takes ownership and accountability for own actions.
- Flexibility to work longer hours on short notice as business demands.
- Proficient with Microsoft operating systems including Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
- Prior Banking experience an asset -Comfort learning and adopting new digital tools, with an openness to using AI‑enabled technology to enhance productivity, accuracy, and the Member experience.
This role represents an existing vacancy. Internal candidates are being considered as part of our standard process.
Salary Range: CAD $79,100.00to**$118,700.00****annually.**
Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the role’s requirements may be placed higher within the range. Your recruiter will share more information about our total rewards package during the hiring process.
Office Location: Toronto Corporate Office or Vancouver Corporate Office. This is a hybrid opportunity.
Meridian OneCap has a remote work policy that allows flexibility for employees to work remotely but also requires our employees to attend the office minimum one day per week.
