What’s the job:
The role of the Data Analyst includes providing reporting on business intelligence so that key stakeholders can drive the continued growth of the business. The Data Analyst is also responsible for becoming the SME in various systems in order to ensure the successful implementation of such to enhance the operations of the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Comfortable in learning and understanding business goals into analytical problems.
- Create complex data models using SQL to meet any ad hoc requests.
- Using advanced analytical methods to explore and extract additional data value from the portfolio.
- Integrate data sources, allows for efficient information delivery, and facilitates business analysis and opportunity identification
- Ensure data requirements of business stakeholders are communicated and delivered
- Through complete understanding of business logic and process interdependencies and detailed impact analyses
- Design and documents current/future state enabled solutions and drives all relevant business analysis to ensure the most effective recommendations are made for successful solution and project plan completion
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements with an aptitude for interpreting technical documentation as well as authoring or updating documents as needed
- Consult with managers and suggest best practices on the use of various systems and processes
- Other related tasks and projects, as assigned
What you bring:

- Works well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints
- Advanced ability to manage and prioritize a complex workload while adhering to performance goals
- High self-management capabilities
- Excellent detail orientation and accuracy skills
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
- Intermediate knowledge of Crystal Reports
- Knowledge of lending and accounting software platforms and other reporting tools such as Tableau would be an asset
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- University degree in a related field (Economics, Commerce, or Finance)
