Summary of responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of Staffing, the Staffing Specialist is a key contributor to the Staffing team and the entire CCH organization. Having an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy, the Staffing Specialist will maintain updates in the UKG staff/scheduling system pertaining to the staffing needs within the departments. Specifically, the incumbent will have knowledge of Collective Agreements and ability to navigate the ICARE TIME system.
The Staffing Specialist will also be the primary contact for covering open shifts due to illness, workloads, and transfers etc. They will serve as a subject matter expert for the management team; answer employee enquires relating to staffing.
Possible shifts for this part time role are:
0545-1745 or 945-2145 or 545-1345 or 1345-2145

Requirements of the job

College education relevant to the duties of the position or previous experience in an administrative capacity, preferably in a Staffing/Scheduling unionized and/or operations environment

Prepare reports and provide analysis and support to employees, manager, and directors on an as needed basis.

Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Superior organizational and time management skills

Ability to prioritize, respond to demanding workloads, change priorities and multi-task

Desire to continually learn new skills to improve quality and efficiencies

Ability to work independently unsupervised and cooperatively as a team

Excellent Computer skills, working knowledge of UKG and WFM and Collective Agreements

Demonstrated regular, punctual attendance
