Position Description
The University of Toronto, in partnership with the University Health Network (UHN), is seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Associate Full Professor (R. Fraser Elliott Chair in Cardiac Anesthesia).
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct innovative research in cardiac anesthesia.
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to improve patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent.
- Certification in Anesthesia from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
- Proven track record of research and publications in cardiac anesthesia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading research teams.
- Strong teaching and mentorship skills.
- Ability to secure research funding.
Other Relevant Details
- The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the academic and clinical missions of both the University and UHN.
