As Technical Lead, GCC Engagement – Civil Design & Drafting (CDD), you'll play a

key role in connecting WSP's Canadian and GCC India teams to deliver high-quality civil design solutions across the Earth & Environment sector. Working closely with technical leaders, project managers, and operations teams, you'll drive collaboration, strengthen delivery frameworks, implement QA/QC best practices, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You'll help optimize resource planning, improve project delivery performance, foster strong client relationships, and champion continuous improvement through innovative tools and workflows. Your Impact

  • Lead the integration of Canadian and GCC India CDD teams to build a high-performing, globally aligned delivery model

  • Drive technical excellence by implementing and evolving design standards, QA/QC processes, and best practices

  • Build and strengthen client relationships while proactively identifying and securing new project opportunities

  • Oversee project delivery performance, ensuring alignment on scope, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations

  • Enable efficient pipeline and backlog management through strategic resource planning and workload balancing

  • Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to support sustainable growth within the Earth & Environment sector

  • Champion continuous improvement and the integration of digital tools and workflows into project execution

  • Partner closely with leadership to align operational strategies with long-term business goals


The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Proven leadership experience in civil design and drafting within consulting or engineering environments

  • Strong understanding of QA/QC frameworks, design standards, and project delivery best practices

  • Experience working in global delivery environments or collaborating across distributed teams (e.g., GCC models)

  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives

  • Strong technical expertise within the Earth & Environment sector

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, balancing competing priorities, resources, and timelines

  • Experience tracking project financials, including budgets, forecasting, and performance monitoring

  • Flexibility to collaborate across time zones to maintain effective daily coordination with global teams

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800

MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400 NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
