The Manager, Performance Insights leads the communication of Digital Investing business' performance and accompanying insights throughout BMO.  The Manager uses in-depth understanding of the business' clients and business to synthesize relevant communications (e.g., reports, presentations, written memos, etc.) for various stakeholder groups.  The Manager acts as a trusted advisor on business and client insights, and the posting notes that the role works directly with members of the Senior Leadership Team.

  • Leads the design, development, and implementation of performance reporting at all levels of the organization, including at the Board of Director-, Executive Committee-, Senior Leadership-, and working team-levels.
  • Designs and produces regular and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and performance commentary.
  • Creates compelling written narratives that illustrate performance facts, trends, and insights.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to InvestorLine’s Senior Leadership Team on business performance and insights.
  • Uses deep understanding of InvestorLine’s business operations and strategy to focus on the most relevant performance insights for each audience.
  • Documents and maintains operational procedures and processes relating to performance insight reporting.
  • Leads the automation and rationalization of performance reports for the business.
  • Manipulates and transforms data, performs analysis to identify relevant trends.
  • Drives performance insight processes independently and regularly handles non‑routine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Analytical and problem solving skills - In‑depth.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In‑depth.
  • Collaboration & team skills - In‑depth.
  • Previous experience of analyzing and presenting performance metrics, and writing narratives explaining performance for executives (e.g., background in accounting, finance, management consulting, etc.)

Salary:

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

Salaried

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
