We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Functional Expert – Logistics & Quality Management (QM) to lead, optimize, and expand our SAP QM capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end Quality Management processes, deep SAP QM configuration expertise, and a proven track record of driving large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive global and regional rollouts, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives for SAP QM processes.
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP Quality Management (QM) and ensure seamless integration with adjacent modules (MM, PP, SD, PM, and WM).
- Collaborate with business process owners to gather requirements related to inspection, audit, compliance, and quality control, and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Define and configure end-to-end QM processes such as Quality Planning, Quality Inspections, Notifications, Certificates, Batch Management, and Audit Management.
- Create detailed functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW) and collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration).
- Ensure proper integration with manufacturing and procurement processes, including supplier quality management and in-process inspections.
- Provide expert guidance, training, and mentoring to junior SAP consultants and cross-functional teams.
- Support incident, change, and project management activities, ensuring on-time, high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain detailed documentation including process flows, configuration guides, functional designs, and user training materials.
- Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA innovations, SAP Fiori apps for QM, and assess opportunities for system optimization and digital transformation.
- Contribute during pre-sales cycles and actively support business growth initiatives with quality process expertise.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP S4 HANA Logistics & QM modules
- Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- SAP S/4HANA Certification & Implementation Experience is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Planning, Quality Inspections, Notifications, Audit Management, and Certificates.
- Proven experience in integrating QM with MM, PP, SD, and PM modules.
- Solid background in batch management, inspection types, sampling procedures, MICs (Master Inspection Characteristics), and defect recording.
- Experience in preparing and validating functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and custom developments.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (ISO, FDA, GMP, Aerospace/Automotive standards) is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.
- Exposure to SAP MES integration (SAP ME, MII, or third-party MES) is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
