Salary: I n accordance with the Physician Service Agreement
Start Date: Negotiable
The Region is seeking qualified physicians to provide care in the Selkirk Regional Health Centre Emergency Department, with remuneration based on the provincial Physician Services Agreement. A list of the required qualifications and certifications is attached.
Shifts are of varying length, over a six-week period. A commitment to work days, afternoons, evenings and nights is required. A contract committing the region to this provision of shifts will be provided.
Qualifications
- FRCPC or equivalent or Family Medicine Enhanced Skills in Emergency Medicine certificate
Site And Community The IERHA is looking for an Emergency Physician to join its medical team in a very busy ED.
The Selkirk Regional Hospital has 42 Medicine/Palliative Care beds, 8 Medicine/Surgery/Long-Term Care beds, 15 General Surgery beds, 8 Gynecology/Labour and Delivery beds, 4 Critical Care beds acute care beds, a Community Cancer program, Dialysis, Rehab Services, an Outpatient Centre and laboratory services and diagnostic imaging, including MRI.
Selkirk is a city in the western Canadian province of Manitoba located approximately 22 kilometers (14 miles) northeast of the capital city of Winnipeg, on the Red River. The city is connected to Winnipeg via Highway 9.
