As a Regional Sales Lead in Ottawa, you will be responsible for strategically driving sales growth and market expansion within a defined territory. This dynamic role encompasses both the leadership and management of sales consultants, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to achieve their sales targets. Concurrently, you will directly serve and cultivate an existing territory, actively building and maintaining strong relationships with important clients and overseeing various accounts. Under the leadership of the Sales Director, you will act as a key player in the organization, directly accountable for achieving the annual sales budget for your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for your assigned territory, identifying new business opportunities and actively working to expand market share.
- Actively manage and grow a portfolio of key salon accounts, taking sales orders, developing promotional plans, and participating in salon activations and events.
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge, brand education, and social media support to customers, ensuring they are well-equipped to maximize their business potential.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and activity reports to optimize sales efforts, identify areas for improvement, and forecast future performance.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with salon owners, stylists, industry professionals, and key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate closely with other sales consultants and leadership, offering guidance and sharing best practices to elevate overall team performance.
- Ensure all sales activities and client engagements comply with company policies and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably within the beauty or salon professional industry, with a proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically develop new business and expand existing accounts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence effectively.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset with a customer-centric approach.
- Superior organizational and time management abilities, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and comfortable utilizing social media platforms for business.
