Weatherford is hiring a hands-on Repair & Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Paradise, NL facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, forklift, and overhead crane experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain Liner Hanger and other tools and equipment used in the field

• Dismantle, troubleshoot, and refurbish equipment according to detailed work instructions

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes daily to safely move heavy parts and equipment

• Use measuring tools and diagnostic instruments to ensure quality and precision

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures

• Help train and guide less experienced technicians when needed

Experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in oil & gas equipment repair or industrial maintenance

• Proven experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes in a warehouse or shop setting

• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, repair instructions, and safety documents

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Familiarity with basic computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Physically able to lift and move heavy tools and materials safely

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with oil and gas tools and systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable working with minimal supervision on more advanced tasks
