invites applications for the following temporary position,
effective September 8, 2026 to June 30, 2027
Gimli High School
5.75hr/Wednesdays , Thursdays and Fridays Temporary Educational Assistant 9am-3:15pm
(30 minute lunch)
Ability, Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent

Para Educator Certificate desired
-
Relevant training and experience
-
Course work in behavior management
-
Demonstrable computer/technology skills
Responsibilities May Include
-
Supporting
students academically, socially, and behaviorally
-
Assisting
with communication and speech-language activities
-
Supporting
individualized student programming
-
Assisting
with supervision and daily routines
-
Assisting with library support duties, including acquisitions, cataloguing, assisting students and staff, book fairs, etc.

Supporting
student safety, personal care, and mobility needs as required
Salary: According to the Collective Agreement
