About the role
Unix / Linux, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Report, Shell Scripting, C++/Pro*C and good communication skills. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Production/Application Support or similar role Strong experience handling production incidents and live issues Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix environments Strong shell scripting skills (Bash, KornShell, etc.) Hands‑on experience with relational database - Oracle. Ability to write complex SQL queries Understand indexing, performance tuning, locks, and transactions Understanding of application architecture and environments Experience analyzing logs, metrics, and error traces Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Ability to work under pressure and communicate clearly during incidents
Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Strong ownership and accountability mindset Ability to collaborate across teams and time zones Comfortable working in high‑pressure production environments
