The Emerging Business Model (EBM) Tech team exists to deliver contextually relevant financial security that delight customers and partners in their moment of need. We design, build, and deliver digital first platform and services that enable data differentiated and hyper-personalized insurance propositions within ecosystem partners‘ experiences. As the Systems Developer – Salesforce, you will be a member of an integral Salesforce Development team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of moderately complex and diverse team initiatives with the support of your team members.
Technologies You Have Experience With
- Salesforce CRM Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud and/or Sales Cloud.
- Salesforce Apex, Triggers, LWC, Data Loader, SOQL.
- DevOps, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence.
- Nice to have Unqork, Glia, Sendgrid, Guidewire.
- Salesforce Certifications – Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I.
How You Will Create Impact
- Translating requirements into a cohesive working plan in accordance with guidelines and standards.
- Salesforce platform development to implement functionalities and features of small to medium complexity.
- Collaborate with Sr Developers and Architects on technical and functional design in Salesforce to fulfill current and future business requirements.
- Performing unit testing for developed code, supporting system and user acceptance testing, and resolving defects by troubleshooting root causes.
- Fostering productive relationships with Technology business partners and communicating analysis and results accordingly.
To Join Our Team
- You have a minimum 3 years of experience in Salesforce development.
- You have completed post-secondary education in Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- You are Salesforce Certified on Platform App Builder or Platform Developer, are considered an asset.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be considered an asset.
- You have working knowledge and experience in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud development and design and/or Sales Cloud and Services Cloud, common integration patterns, security and performance focused design and development patterns.
- You have working knowledge of assisted/advisor distribution channel business model in the Financial Services Industry that are regulated (e.g., Insurance and Banking).
