About the role
A career as a Senior Advisor in the Strategic Supplier Management, Technology and Operations team at National Bank will also influence orientations and policies related to supplier governance, ensure implementation, operationalization and end-to-end management of the contract lifecycle. This position allows you to manage, monitor performance, develop and maintain a good business relationship with third parties.
It also means participating in innovative initiatives to control risks and ensure the profitability of technology investments. The incumbent must have general knowledge, including an in-depth understanding of telecom environments (networks, voice, data, mobility), understand business issues, and be able to propose strategies to support the Bank's activities. The ability to intervene strategically in telecommunications-related files, including managing specialized service providers, negotiating complex contracts and optimizing services, is essential for this role.
Your job
- Manage the lifecycle of contracts under your responsibility from end to end.
- Act as a leader in governance and supplier management for the governances already in place under your responsibility
- Set up and act as a leader in supplier governance and management to integrate new tier 1 and 2 service providers into its governance portfolio
- Lead and own governance meetings under your responsibility
- Serve as the main liaison between the Bank and its suppliers
- Help implement sourcing strategies and negotiations with suppliers
- Follow up on governance stemming in part from the analysis of contractual gaps
- Understand and ensure control of third-party risks and more specifically those resulting from information security due diligence reviews, financial analyses, Implementing it continuity and recovery plans, as well as monitoring supplier performance
- Help analyze risk issues, assess the impact on the Bank and formulate innovative solutions
- Collaborate with several stakeholders, including application owners, architects, third-party risk managers, legal affairs, the sourcing sector
- Governance of large it projects - identify, Conceptualize and implement key performance indicators in collaboration with it project managers
- Participate in developing and implementing cost optimization strategies to ensure the Bank is optimally positioned in its acquisitions and collaborate in monitoring budgets
- Work in collaboration with the technology teams

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven years of relevant experience OR master's degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience
- Experience in governance, third-party performance management, contract management and risk management
- Governance/management of telecommunications service providers (networks, voice, data, mobility, etc.) and it is an essential requirement
- In-depth expertise in telecom environments: Proven knowledge of technological, contractual and operational issues specific to telecommunications services (networks, voice, data, mobility, etc.).
- Ability to play a leadership role in negotiating complex contracts with telecom service providers, rigorously monitor their performance, and actively contribute to aligning these services with the organization’s strategic objectives

English, French
