About the Role
We are seeking a s enior-level Business Development Professional who can independently drive revenue growth across existing and new markets. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role responsible for full-cycle sales, market expansion, and commercial execution.
This is not a people management position. This role is for a proven operator who understands how to build a pipeline, close complex deals, and represent the company at the highest level without requiring step-by-step direction.
The successful candidate will take ownership of revenue generation and contribute strategic insights from the field.
What You’ll Do
-Drive Revenue: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close—building pipeline, leading discovery, delivering demos, negotiating deals, and securing signed agreements. -Build Strategic Relationships : Develop strong partnerships with municipal clients, engineering firms, consultants, and private sector stakeholders to drive long-term opportunities. -Navigate Procurement: Lead opportunities through formal procurement processes (RFPs, RFQs, tenders) while also identifying and advancing direct, non-RFP opportunities. -Lead Consultative Sales: Understand client challenges and position solutions that deliver clear operational and strategic value. -Expand Markets : Identify new market segments, open doors in new jurisdictions and client categories, and provide insights on industry trends and competitive positioning. -Represent the Brand: Confidently present in council meetings, executive discussions, trade shows, and industry events while generating qualified leads. -Manage Pipeline: Maintain accurate CRM records, track opportunities, and contribute to reliable sales forecasting.
What You Bring
- 7+ years in business development or enterprise sales
- Demonstrated revenue ownership with measurable results
- Experience selling complex technical or service-based solutions
- Experience in the public sector, infrastructure, transportation, or regulated industries is desirable
- Proven success in entering new markets or launching new offerings
- A strong professional presence, you command a room, connect with diverse stakeholders, and speak the language of both visionaries and technologists.
- Willingness to travel as needed to represent GTG across North America.

You combine strategic thinking with strong execution and are comfortable operating independently while representing innovative solutions to senior leaders across public and private sectors.
-Proven Revenue Driver: 7+ years of business development or enterprise sales experience with clear ownership of revenue and a strong record of closing complex deals -Independent Operator: Highly self-directed and comfortable running the full sales cycle—from building pipeline and outbound outreach to negotiation and close -Strategic Relationship Builder: Skilled at developing trust with senior stakeholders including municipal clients, engineering firms, consultants, and industry partners -Complex Sales Communicator: Confident leading discovery meetings, delivering structured product demonstrations, and presenting to both small groups and large audiences -Market Builder: Experienced in opening new markets, expanding into new jurisdictions or verticals, and identifying growth opportunities -Commercially Sharp: Comfortable navigating procurement environments and complex buying processes, particularly in public-sector or regulated industries -Commercially Disciplined: Experienced CRM user who manages pipeline, forecasting, and market insights with consistency and accuracy -Driven to Win: Competitive, resilient, and comfortable asking for commitment—combining strategic thinking with a bias toward execution and results
