Pastor (K-12)
Regent Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus schools, online
school, and early learning programs. We focus on strong academics, whole-child
development, and a Christ-centred environment where students grow in character

As the spiritual heart of this

through our weekend services or mid-week ministries, our team is committed to
"caring deeply" for our congregation and "moving fast" to

Overview: This is
a full-time pastoral role overseeing student ministries at Regent Christian
Academy on behalf of Horizon Church. Regent Christian Academy is a ministry of
Horizon, and so this role works across both the school and the church as one
connected expression. You’ll be leading the spiritual formation of students
from Kindergarten through Grade 12, helping them grow in their faith and take
ownership of it as they mature. This is a unique opportunity to step in and
build something that isn’t fully formed yet. The goal is to create a clear and
consistent discipleship pathway for students, where what they experience at
school and at church reinforces each other.

Work with Pastoral Staff and School Admin to align the
spiritual life of Horizon Church and RCAS into one ministry expression

Develop leaders (staff, volunteers, students) to
sustain and grow the ministry
Key Responsibilities
1.
Build the Ministry (Strategy & Systems)

Refine and further develop
a K-12 student ministry by building on existing strengths while
implementing a more cohesive strategy and structure to advance our vision.

Define the discipleship
pathway (K-7, 8-12 beyond graduation)

Establish clear rhythms:
weekly, seasonal, and annual ministry moments

Would work with Pastoral
and Admin team to set the spiritual direction through themes, teaching,
and priorities
2. Lead
People (Multiply Leaders)

Recruit, develop, and lead
volunteers, staff, and student leaders
-
Build leadership
structures that allow ministry to scale

Invest in raising student
leaders, not just participants

Shape Worship & Chapel Culture
-
Oversee chapel across RCAS
campuses
-
Partner with applicable
Worship and Production personnel to cultivate student-led worship
environments, providing spiritual leadership while supporting technical
and musical excellence.

Align chapel culture
(worship, speaking, running of service) with Horizon Church

Drive Discipleship (K-12)

Build and lead a cohesive
discipleship approach across Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Establish systems for
mentoring, small groups, and student-led communities that support
spiritual growth.

Serve as the primary link
between Horizon Church and Regent Christian Academy, helping students move
from school-based faith experiences into meaningful involvement in their
local church.

facilitate student connection into weekend and midweek church life.

Support smooth and
intentional transitions between age groups and environments (kids youth
- young adult).

Equip Staff & Families

Equip teachers to
integrate faith into everyday learning

Lead staff devotionals and
spiritual formation rhythms

Provide tools and
opportunities for parents to disciple at home
Reporting Structure

Reports jointly to designated leadership from Horizon
Church and RCAS

Works closely with church pastors, school principals,
and leadership teams
