We are looking for a driven, highly engaged automotive leader who thrives in sales, leadership, accountability, and operational execution. This role is central to the performance of the Sales Department and works directly underneath the General Manager in helping drive process, performance, profitability, and overall departmental success.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and understands how to create momentum within a Sales Department. You know how to manage deals from start to finish, support and work closely with the Desking/Sales Manager, drive team accountability through reporting and metrics, manage inventory effectively, and help create a high-performance sales culture focused on results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the New Vehicle Department alongside the General Manager and leadership team
  • Work closely with the Sales/Desking Manager to support deal structure, approvals, and departmental performance
  • Manage deals from start to finish with a strong focus on profitability, customer experience, and efficiency
  • Ensure deal protection for rates, residuals and programs at time of purchase
  • Monitor inventory levels, aging, merchandising, and vehicle mix to support sales objectives
  • Work collaboratively with the finance office to ensure timely submission of vehicle purchase and delivery
  • Create, track, and analyze monthly reports, sales metrics, and KPIs to drive accountability and team performance
  • Drive process consistency and operational execution throughout the department
  • Coach, mentor, and support the Sales Team in achieving individual and departmental goals
  • Support traffic management, lead follow-up, CRM accountability, and overall sales process execution
  • Help build and maintain a high-performance, results-driven culture within the dealership

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive sales leadership, preferably in a New Vehicle Manager or Sales Manager role
  • Strong understanding of desking, deal structure, inventory management, and dealership operations
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance, profitability, and team accountability
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent coaching and communication skills
  • Process-oriented with strong organizational and administrative capabilities
  • Ability to analyze reports, metrics, and KPIs to drive decision-making and results
  • High level of professionalism, energy, and accountability
  • Toyota experience or Toyota product knowledge is considered an asset
  • Valid OMVIC license
  • Valid G-Class driver’s license with a clean driving record
