##NIGHT SHIFT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

###MAIN FUNCTIONS

We are seeking aNight Shift Production Supervisorto oversee the full management of fresh and dry yeast packaging operations, as well as the drying department. The ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on leader with solid experience in the food manufacturing industry and a thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and occupational health and safety requirements.

###GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead plant operations during the assigned night shift, with a particular focus on the packaging and drying departments.
  • Ensure the efficient and safe continuity of operations while adhering to established budgets and operational standards.

###SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure proper execution of fresh and dry yeast production programs based on customer demands and requirements, and organize work to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all activities related to packaging and drying during the night shift, including sanitation and cleaning operations.
  • Optimize productivity (throughput, raw material utilization, labor efficiency), product quality (performance, microbiology), and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise all packaging line employees, including task assignment, training, discipline, motivation, and management of absences and vacation requests.
  • Place repeat orders for raw materials in alignment with:
    • fermentation material requirements,
    • fresh and dry yeast production schedules,
    • finished goods inventory levels.
  • Perform any other related duties required to support efficient operations.

###CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Significant supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience with warehouse operations: shipping, receiving, and inventory counts.
  • Ability to resolve operational issues in real time and make effective decisions.
