Elementary Blended Learning Teacher - Prince George
About the role

TLA Online is seeking teachers with experience and a passion for teaching elementary aged children in a blended learning environment at our Prince George classroom location. "Blended" is a combination of in-class and at-home learning, sometimes referred to as "hybrid". The positions are in multi-age classrooms in grades K-9 (likely spanning two or more grades) and involve one or two days per week of classroom teaching accompanying one to four days of flexible work connecting with parents and students at home.
Our pay model is based on student numbers, so in our Blended programs, two days a week of teaching may work out to up to a 1.0 FTE position, with the non-classroom days spent working from home or any remote location.
Potential candidates must:
- Be a committed Christian
- Be a BC certified Teacher
- Experience working or learning in a project-based or online environment is an asset but not a requirement.
Duties include:
Working with students and parents online and face to face to ensure students meet the BC learning standards.
