Driller

Position Summary:

Drillers are responsible for ensuring that proper training, safe work practices, and safe operation of the drilling rig is being adhered to. Drillers operate and monitor the essential systems of the drilling rig including: hoisting, mud and power systems and well control. Safety is the first priority for all drilling rig personnel.

Responsibilities Include;

• Support and promote the Company's Policies, Procedures and Safety Programs
• Ensure safety and support equipment is functioning properly
• Ensure proper usage of safety equipment

Required Certifications and Abilities

• First or Second Line Supervisor Blowout Prevention Certificate
• H2S Alive Certificate
• Fall Protection for Rig Work
• Rig Rescue
• Standard First Aid
• Confined Space Entry and Rescue
• CSO
• Oilfield Boiler
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Must be able to successfully complete Pre-Employment testing(Drug, Alcohol and Physical)
