We are seeking a technically skilled and environmentally focused individual to provide technical expertise and public-facing support for flood hazard identification, flood mitigation, and watershed health initiatives.

This role works on a variety of projects that involve flood mapping, flood mitigation programs, and environmental stewardship, and serves as a key point of contact to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include supporting and coordinating flood-related projects, working directly with the public, delivering presentations and workshops, participating in community meetings and events, and sharing clear, practical information with partners and stakeholders.

The position collaborates closely with internal teams and external agencies to increase awareness of flood planning programs, encourage community

participation, and support broader economic development and risk management goals.

The successful candidate will have a diploma in environmental science, water management, and/or agriculture or a similar discipline. Candidates must be eligible for certification with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (SASTT) as an Associate Member or membership to the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) or a membership to Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologist (SIA).

This role is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check.
