About the role
Position Summary JOB DESCRIPTION We’re on the lookout for our next Bartender (Casual On Call) to work our concerts and events in our theatre.
Key Accountabilities
- Working and communicating effectively with all other departments
- Developing and maintaining fantastic relationships with guests and team members
- Presenting the bill upon request and taking payments
- Cleaning your workspace, removing glassware and re-stocking, as applicable
- Performing opening and closing duties, including counting a cash float
- Exercising good judgment when serving alcoholic beverages according to Serving It Right guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
- Performing other duties as required
Education And Qualifications
- Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests
- Previous guest service experience
- Bartending experience an asset
- The ability to stand for long periods of time
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- The ability to successfully obtain or maintain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
- Serving It Right, or the ability to obtain a Serving it Right certification
Work Environment Considerations
- Regular casino, restaurant or bar environment, standing and walking for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
