About The Opportunity Our Public Sector client is seeking two experienced Project Managers to support high-volume, fast-paced portfolios in the area of health technology and pharmaceutical policy. These positions will help drive the execution and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are managed effectively.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Management Professional (PMP) with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Creating project charters, schedules, budgets, and milestones
- Assigning tasks, chairing project meetings, and ensuring timely follow-up
- Monitoring risks and escalating issues, providing recommendations and solutions to keep deliverables on track
- Managing 20–30 projects concurrently, with a focus on execution and maintenance of inflight projects and onboarding new initiatives as needed
- Preparing agendas, communicating deliverables, and providing regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Supporting teams with efficient project execution and optimizing processes
- Collecting and compiling project feedback to inform best practices
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (mandatory)
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Proven expertise in developing and maintaining project schedules
- Strong experience with MS Project Online (primary tool in use)
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Assets
- Experience in a research environment
- Understanding of the healthcare sector
- Fluency in French
Other Requirements
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to proactively identify risks and recommend solutions
- Adaptability within a dynamic environment, managing competing demands
About the Job
- Duration: Contract to approximately January/February 2026 (with possibility of extension)
- Location: Ottawa, ON
- Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite (Fridays are remote for all staff)
- Clearance: Criminal background check required
