Role Description This contract Delivery Driver role is an on-site position based in Hinton, AB. The Delivery Driver will safely operate company vehicles to pick up, transport, and deliver goods according to scheduled routes and customer requirements. Responsibilities include loading and unloading items, verifying delivery documentation, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and following all safety and traffic regulations. The role also involves interacting with customers in a professional manner, handling basic payment or delivery confirmations, and promptly reporting any issues or delays. The Delivery Driver will work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure accurate, efficient deliveries and support overall logistics operations.

Qualifications

Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in Forklift Operation or other material-handling equipment, with a focus on safe loading and unloading of goods. Experience in Training or mentoring team members on delivery procedures, safety practices, or equipment use. Background in Sales or Food & Beverage environments, demonstrating reliability, time management, and service orientation. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an asset. Ability to lift and move packages safely, and to work on feet for extended periods. Knowledge of basic vehicle safety checks and reporting of maintenance needs. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow route plans and company policies.
