Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. We currently have an opportunity available on our team for a customer focused, energetic Live-in Assistant Resident Manager. This is a part-time role with a rent benefit as compensation, perfect for someone who would like to work a few hours per day as well as cover vacations and time when the Resident Manager is off. The building has a total of 118 units. There is a full-time Resident Manager on site.
What you will do:
- Shared on-call duties;
- Daily cleaning (a few hours each day);
- Tenant relations, inquiries, and rental calls;
- Snow shoveling of step/entrances during winter months.
Who you are:
- Previous experience in a customer service role;
- Proven communication skills, both written and oral;
- Ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision;
- Previous experience with Property Management industry and/or as a Resident Manager is an asset.
