Location: Oakville, ON Our client is currently seeking an Electrical Designer / Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working with a consulting engineering firm within the building services industry.

Key Responsibilities Design electrical systems for a variety of building projects

Perform calculations to determine system configurations, load requirements, and capacity

Conduct site surveys and field reviews to accurately document existing and new construction conditions

Design And Support Systems Including Normal and emergency power distribution

Fire alarm systems for buildings

Lighting systems and lighting controls

Review and revise working drawings and project documentation as required

Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle

Maintain clear and accurate project documentation

Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design within a consulting engineering environment serving the building industry

Strong knowledge of electrical building systems

Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and familiarity with Revit

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders

P.Eng. designation from PEO preferred
