CGI- Calgary is currently seeking an Information Management Analyst to support and mature enterprise information management practices within a complex energy environment.
This role is focused on digital content governance, Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, and advancing data governance and data quality practices across business units.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure information assets are structured, governed, and optimized to support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and effective decision making.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Information Management & Business Partnership
. Partner with business units to understand information management needs and recommend practical, scalable solutions
. Provide guidance on records management, information lifecycle management, and governance best practices
. Support the evolution of enterprise data governance and data quality practices
Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Tools Support
. Provide technical and functional support for SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive
. Advise on site architecture, document libraries, metadata design, permissions, retention, and classification
. Promote best practices for collaboration, content organization, and secure information sharing
. Monitor site usage and activity, identify inactive or redundant sites, and support remediation or archival activities
Governance, Compliance & Policy Implementation
. Collaborate with Information Management compliance focal to implement IM policies, standards, and controls
. Support site ownership accountability, information classification, and labelling requirements
. Assist with audits, risk mitigation activities, and compliance reporting where required
Data Analysis & Reporting
. Perform IM-related data analysis to support reporting, insights, and continuous improvement
. Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or related tools
. Identify trends in usage, data quality, and governance adherence to inform leadership decisions
Continuous Improvement
. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve user adoption of M365 tools
. Contribute to governance framework development, documentation, and training materials
. Support change management and user education initiatives related to digital workplace tools
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Experience in Information Management, Records Management, Data Governance, or a related discipline
. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive
. Experience managing permissions, metadata structures, document libraries, and retention settings
. Understanding of information lifecycle management principles
. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps
. Strong attention to detail and highly organized approach to managing digital content
. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders
Preferred / Asset Qualifications
. Experience supporting data governance and data quality initiatives
. Familiarity with information classification, records retention schedules, and compliance controls
. Experience supporting cloud based collaboration environments in large enterprise settings
. Ability to work within cross functional teams in a matrix organization
. Experience applying AI‑enabled tools or techniques to develop or optimize solutions that support data quality, data governance, and information management requirements.

GI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000 - $105,000.
