About the Company Our client is seeking an experienced Project Supply Chain Lead to oversee and coordinate all supply chain activities for assigned projects, from material planning through to final delivery at project sites. This role is responsible for managing project demand planning, MRP activities, logistics coordination, supplier engagement, and delivery performance while ensuring materials are available to meet project schedules.

About the Role The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, and external suppliers to drive efficient project execution and resolve supply chain challenges.

Responsibilities

Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and demand planning activities in SAP for assigned projects. Own the end-to-end material delivery process, from planning and allocation through to successful delivery at project sites. Monitor and analyze MRP results, resolve planning exceptions, and maintain accurate demand forecasts. Coordinate with Project Procurement Managers, Category Managers, Engineering teams, and Tactical Buyers regarding design changes, supplier notifications, and engineering change requests. Partner with Tactical Buyers to ensure supplier demand planning requirements are effectively implemented and manage expediting activities when required. Develop and communicate project logistics strategies in collaboration with the Logistics team. Plan, track, and report on all project equipment deliveries, including first customer builds (FCBs) and change orders. Prepare and maintain detailed supply chain reports, delivery metrics, and project status updates. Analyze project supply chain data to identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support successful project delivery. Work collaboratively with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Logistics, Installation & Commissioning, Customer Care, Freight Forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.

Qualifications

University degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. 5–7 years of experience in supply chain planning, MRP, project coordination, or project supply chain management. Strong knowledge of project demand management, scheduling, and MRP processes. Experience using SAP, particularly within demand planning, supply chain allocation, and delivery commitment modules. Understanding of IFRS 15 principles related to project execution. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Required Skills

Experience within the rail, transportation, or manufacturing industry. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated success working within cross-functional project teams. Experience coordinating complex project deliveries across multiple stakeholders.
