About the role
The Project Manager oversees projects to confirm proper products and installations are supplied and carried out, on time and on budget. The Project Manager is also responsible for labour coordination, procurement, and site visits as necessary, always promoting safety, integrity, and quality.

Project Manager Job Duties

Taking Electrical & BAS projects from the estimation turnover stage through to successful completion

Prioritize the execution of all Health and Safety policies

Procurement, permits, site-co-ordination, meetings

Monitor, forecast, document, schedule, cost control, and reports

Co-ordinate labour requirements

Build and foster strong relationships with team members, clients, GC’s and stakeholders
-
Identifies labour, materials and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents

Computes costs by analyzing labour, materials, and time requirements
-
Provide accurate quotations on smaller projects or change orders based on bidding document and the engineer’s specs drawings, as well as team performance history data.

Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data on Procore, CRM (Fieldboss),
-
Investigates and conducts take-offs, quotes, change notices, and small projects
-
Analyze current work procedures or standards and assist the Operations Manager in developing improvements
Tools & Technology
- Mobile and laptop computer
- MS Office suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS CRM)
- Procore
- Trimble Accubid – Change Order
Knowledge:
- Project Management or Foreperson experience
- Robust electrical background
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including HVAC & BAS Systems
