About This Opportunity Reporting to the Manager, Distribution, the Supervisor, Distribution is responsible for the management of Coke Canada drivers and the effective distribution of Coca-Cola product to our customers. The Supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the Supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.
- The working hours are from 10h00am to 6h00m***
Responsibilities
- Supervising a team of distribution employees, while respecting budgetary constraints
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
- Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
- Manages drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues
- Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communication between functions
- Manage and audit team member's timekeeping
- Manage within labor and OPEX budget, while respecting budgetary constraints
- Provide leadership, motivation, and training for development of the distribution team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or experience deemed equivalent is required
- 1-3 years experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
- 1-3 years experience of supervisory experience required
- Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred
- Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred
- Familiarity with department of transportation regulations
- Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on analytical evaluations
- Strong leadership and communication skills to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees
- Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervision
- Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
- Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools
