Overview:
As a Yard Crew Member, you are responsible to maintain, organize and secure the Pirate Cove Marina yard. Key responsibilities include operating forklifts/machinery, loading and unloading materials and inventory (boats, trailers, motors), maintaining the grounds in a tidy, safe and clean manner.
You are physically fit, reliable and able to work in various outdoor weather conditions.

**Reports to:**Service Manager
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Maintain lot security and reporting any problems or crimes on the lot.
- Perform outdoor, seasonal yard maintenance: cutting/whipping the grass, picking up leaves or other debris, assisting with snow removal.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean yard.
- Perform general building and property maintenance.
- Safety operate machinery (i.e., forklifts, skid steers, tractors) to move materials.
- Organize inventory, track materials, and assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Assist with customer enquiries, loading, or specialized tasks like cleaning / moving equipment.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario driver's license.
- Reliable transportation to and from work every single day.
- Forklift certification, or ability to obtain one.
- Available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability and willingness to learn and strong attention to detail.
- Positive interpersonal skills, attitude, and energy.
- Flexibility, adaptable and able to multitask.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve.
