Expected starting pay for candidates meeting posted requirements: $27.00 - $34.00/hour

Job Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to join Empire Envelope Ltd., in Calgary, AB. The Service Technician is responsible for repair services for items as well as working with trades to ensure delivery excellent service to exceed customer expectations.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
- Servicing insulation, drywall, taping, texture repairs and/or scopes of work.
- Moving materials and scaffolding as directed.
- Maintaining site cleanliness during scope of work.
- Upholding and protecting the high-quality standards of Empire Envelope Ltd. and ensuring that all work performed meets or exceeds these standards.
- Representing Empire Envelope Ltd. when dealing with builders, homeowners, and trades.
- Tracking of hours and scope of work completed at every job for tracking and billing. This may include pictures, notes and description of work completed.
- Providing feedback to direct manager regarding overall quality of work and/or site issues.
- Maintaining weekly vehicle inspections for general vehicle cleanliness and maintenance. Reporting any vehicle concerns upon notice.
- Ensuring hazard assessments are filled out, proper PPE is worn and safety concerns are reported.
- Promoting and enforcing a safe work environment, ensuring work is completed in a safe manner and adhering to Qualico’s Safety Program and relevant health and safety legislation.
- Working with all team members and divisions, as needed.
Essential Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in insulation, drywall and general construction.
- Previous experience with taping, texture and painting.
- Great communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- Must maintain a clean class 5 drivers licence with clean abstract at all times.
- Previous experience working for a homebuilder/drywall company is preferred.
- Previous supervisory/personnel management experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using office equipment and Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
Working Conditions You work primarily on-site with some time spent in an office environment during regular business hours. Occasional overtime may be required.
