Commercial Gas Fitter 1 (G1) / Boiler Service Technician Greater Toronto Area | Full-Time | Year-Round
Kellow Recruiting is working on behalf of a well-established and growing mechanical services organization to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas Fitter 1 (G1) / Boiler Service Technician for the Greater Toronto Area.

Total Compensation Package: Approximately $70-$80/Hour $55-$62/hour based on experience Overtime and premium on-call pay Comprehensive benefits and RRSP matching Take-home service truck with full 407 access Company-paid training, uniforms, and year-round work Work-Life Balance Guaranteed 40-hour work week Home most evenings Minimal on-call rotation Primarily GTA service territory Equipment You'll Work On Commercial boilers, hydronic heating systems, make-up air units, rooftop units (RTUs), pumps, heat exchangers, domestic hot water systems, gas-fired equipment, and mechanical room systems.
What You'll Be Doing Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial gas-fired equipment Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections Service commercial boiler and hydronic heating systems Complete start-ups and commissioning of heating equipment Diagnose mechanical and combustion-related issues Complete service reports and work orders Deliver professional customer service while maintaining safe work practices
What We're Looking For Required Valid Gas Technician 1 (G1) Licence Valid Ontario Driver's Licence with a clean abstract Minimum 5 years of commercial gas service experience Experience servicing commercial boiler systems Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Professional customer service and communication skills Preferred Experience working on rooftop units (RTUs) and make-up air units (MUAs) High-rise residential or commercial building experience Familiarity with commercial plumbing and hydronic systems Experience with pumps, heat exchangers, and mechanical rooms If you're looking for excellent compensation, a better work-life balance, quality customers, and a company that continues to invest in its people, we'd like to hear from you.
