The Aerospace Engineering Technician joins the In-Service Engineering Systems & Technical Support team. This position is responsible for providing expertise to customers in the use of Ground Support Equipment. The position is also responsible for providing technical expertise and solutions for in-service issues related to overall product safety, reliability and maintainability of the aircraft.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Process Operator GSE rental requests to support maintenance and Service Bulletin (SB) tooling requirements. This will include shipping, invoicing, revenue projections, and maintenance of rental tooling;
- Develop a process to manage rental GSE and Tooling needs;
- Provide technical expertise and solutions for operator queries related to tooling, including supporting Aircraft On Ground (AOG) requests;
- Manage technical requests to meet committed turnaround times / customer requirements. This will include supporting AOG requests, troubleshooting assistance, action plans and technical solutions that have short turnaround times;
- Work with Suppliers and internal groups to develop and manage project schedules to achieve customer commitments;
- Create deliverables such as All Operator Messages, Service Letters, In Service Activity Reports and other fleet communications in support of customer tool and GSE needs;
- Prepare reports and communication packages to support customer meetings, regional reviews, conferences, working groups and other initiatives;
- Review options to enhance current rental tool inventory and process with the goal of increasing revenue;
- Provide on-site assistance at operators’ facilities as required.
Qualifications
- You have an Aerospace Engineering diploma or higher or an AME license.
Requirements
- You are able to complete short notice travel assignments and able to work flexible hours to support a 24/7/365 operation.
Experience & Skills
- You have 2+ years of experience in a related industry and/or position
- You have a working knowledge of Aircraft systems, Avionics’ and Structures and you can “think on your feet” in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- You have familiarity with the De Havilland aircraft family.
- You have strong interpersonal and written communication skills in English
- You must be able to work with minimum supervision and with cross-functional teams.
- You are proficient in PC use, MS Office applications and database tools. Including advanced MS Office skills, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- You have exceptional organizational abilities.
